...and so come and see what I have to share that eases my stresses.
The first five pictures will show you how it all started. It is now very cold over here, and just as well as a very few souls are out and about outside. No crowds and we felt that nature wanted to show us something special. It is during these periods that we are free to meditate on the good things in our short journey on this planet that they call earth. Mother nature wanted to show us some of her special charms. My wife reckons that these pictures look so warm with their golden colors.
So come and see for yourself and let me know in the replies if you share her thoughts.
We were headed home after a tough day, and I saw this tree pointing its finger to the sky. A message perhaps?
Oh yes, definitely, a message, as we arrived at home to see this view below, and so I made a u-turn with our car, and we headed to our high spot up on a hill to get a better view of the sunset.
And there it was.
This was a close up on my zoom of the picture below. And it shows the backside of the Cape Table Mountain.
And here is a full shot of the picture above.
A string of clouds could be seen at the right side of the mountain.
And it was in this string of clouds that the sun decided to greet us on its way down.
Finally, that's how we left it, and we were off back home to have supper.
Just another day, so they say, but many a day turns out to be very special, and colorful. Most of the days now are covered with cloud and most days we have light rain coming down. So, to see an issue like this sunset, erases all the negative thoughts in our minds. Now what negative thoughts would you think that we have? Well, for one thing, we don't have a TV, and if I want to watch something interesting then we pop down to a local restaurant that has those big TV screens all over the place.
The problem that we have, during the school holidays, is that the place becomes crowded and one can hardly hear oneself think with all the kids running amok with loud screams of happiness. We are happy for the kids, but it leaves one with a deaf one ear and another ear that can hear nothing :) Sort of the deaf leading the blind, for we leave the place after I have watched whatever I wanted to with spinning heads.
Such is life.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.
