Hello Hivers!

I really want to complete August's Daily Drawing Challenge (At least from the day I started) So... For today's task I learned a lot and I also had a lot of fun trying to make this drawing.

Today, I learned about the guide lines necessary to get a good result. This is the first time I try to make a portrait and I wanted to do it the best I could. For that reason, after trying and failing in a first draw I decided to read and learn more about this art.

This sketch you're seeing was my 2nd try. Even when I used the lines to have an idea of what to do, I didn't use a model to guide me, and I think that was a mistake. I did this from my imagination and the examples I saw when I was reading. The good thing is that mistakes are the best teachers.

I used graphite pencils 2B and 2H
