Happy Sunday Steemians, Its feels so good to be home again after spending over 6 weeks away from home. Let me tell you about my journey from Akwanga Nasarawa State to Ibadan Oyo state, I arrived in FCT Abuja on Monday 2nd of sept evening, I went to Area 1 shopping complex to buy kilishi (flat dried peppered seasoned meat) for my people then from there I went to Lugbe to sleep in my friend's place so that I will leave for Ibadan very early on Tuesday.
On Tuesday morning I left the house very early to the park at Giri junction and I boarded a bus going to Ibadan. We left Abuja around to 7 in the morning and the journey was so smooth until we reach Lokoja-Okene express road where we encountered a very long go-slow because of bad road coupled with the rainfall the previous day but thanks to police officers who were also on the road we were able to leave after like 20-30mins. From there we moved on until we stopped in Ibillo Edo State to eat, I ate hot pounded yam with egusi soup and two meats. From there to Ondo State to Osun State and finally Ibadan Oyo state. I arrived in Ibadan around after 5 in the evening and I arrived home after 6 in the evening, I met my mum and sister at home and it was a nice thing to see both of them again. My sister prepared rice and stew for me and we all gist about things till we all slept in the night.
on my way to church on friday
On Friday I went to church with my mum and sister for prayer in the morning and we all came back to the house by 2pm. It really rained from 8am till 1pm on that Friday. Today Sunday 9th sept we all went to church (Redeemed Christian Church of God) for Sunday service, the sermon preached by the pastor was so nice.
