I remember that even in italian schools this was an optional read, often suggested by the teachers.

I'm not sure it's a book I would have considered on my own but your review made me more interested in it.
I particularly like the humor and the concepts in the second passage your shared there.

It seems a bit of an intimidating read to me because of the philosophies and ideologies in it but otherwise a potentially captivating book.
