As far as skinks in the area, this is about as big as we've seen. While relocating toads from where we were working yesterday, we also noticed this large skink. After a couple of failed attempts, I was finally able to capture this guy. He was extremely well fed too, most likely from chowing down on the masses of crickets with the toads. I bet this guy could go over a month without eating and still be doing just fine. Thankfully, he got a nice new home just like the toads. Here's some more photos of this impressive creature.
