And I found them!!!
Honestly, this was an absolutely great experience. All of my life I've enjoyed finding Monarch caterpillars, and while visiting Wisconsin I stumbled upon an entire field of them. It was encouraging and exciting to see, and I spent some time taking a few photos of these wonderful creatures too. Here's a handful of photos I made while in a field of milkweed. Enjoy!
