This thing is huge!
When I got the call, I knew I had to act fast. Thankfully, neighbors are starting to call me for snake removal rather than just killing them. All I knew is that a snake was in a chicken coop. I figured it was either a Black Rat Snake or a Copperhead, so I jumped in the truck and took off.
When I arrived, the largest Black Rat Snake I've seen all year had just finished eating more than a dozen eggs and was enjoying itself inside one of the nesting boxes. Ever so carefully, I reached out, and what happened next was something I had never seen. Bright yellow yolk began to leak out of its mouth, but thankfully it never bit me. It'll be relocated to a safe new home in a wild land far, far away. Enjoy the video!
