Some people count sheep to fall asleep, we count them when we wake up.
The night can be a long time. Many nocturnal predators prowl through the darkness looking for prey once the sun sets. That's one good reason to check on the flocks every morning. This morning, I checked on our ewes, and sun was just rising, which created a great photo opportunity. These are not all of our sheep featured here, but a good handful. Enjoy the photos!
