I've been wanting to try this!
I finally took the time to try this, and so far it's going great. I wanted to use some downed trees to make some benches to in our campfire area. I've been desiring a campfire for a while now, and having some benches ready will really help. I basically cut a log in half lengthwise, and then made a couple of supports for it to rest on. I think I'll get better in time, but we're off to a great start. Check it out!
