This wasn't what I planned.
Some of the hotels in larger cities across Arkansas have nonnative geckos living on them. At night, they come out, and can be found hiding behind the gutters and in other areas with safe places to retreat to. They like to run around on the walls and wait for insects to be attracted to the lights. I managed to catch some recently during a work trip, and decided to try to photograph them somewhere with good lighting, which happened to be in the bathroom of our hotel room.
With the mirrors and the lighting, this turned out to be a more peculiar photo shoot than I originally intended. I really like some of these shots where you can see the camera and the reflection of the gecko. I'll share some "group photos" later, but these solo shots should suffice for now. Enjoy!
