Happy Birthday to my Mom! I may not be able to give my mom an important thing, but we were able to cook meals for her. Cooking delicious food is one of the closest things we can give to our loved ones.
Earlier, we went to the kitchen to prepare a feast for our Mom's birthday. We cooked some favorite foods, including bihon or pancit in Tagalog and vermicelli in English, also salad, chicken adobo, and spaghetti. We did not restrain ourselves from our taste while cooking, because we are sure that our guests will love it. I couldn't take a picture because we were already busy in the kitchen getting everything ready.
The cooking of our preparations began with the preparation of the ingredients. First, we cooked vermicelli in a large saucepan. Meanwhile, we boiled water for our salad. In a large pan, we cooked our chicken adobo in a spicy sauce. While we were cooking, we put different spices on it to make it even more delicious. In the end, we also cooked our spaghetti in another pan, which we added a lot of butter to make it tastier.
The salad is also very cheesy. There are so many bruises which is my favorite thing to put on when we make salads.
The chicken adobo is also taste good. It's a bit spicy because we put a little chili.
Spaghetti is very good. The mixture is just right and super cheesy, lots of hotdogs and ground pork.
Ice cream ube flavor. It's so good😋
After we cooked, we prepared everything on our table and we gathered to share our food. The children were delighted when we called the neighbors over to share our feast. We also gave them ice cream to sweeten the occasion even more. We were happy with our food, not because of the deliciousness of our preparation, but because of the joyousness of our occasion. Although it was not as luxurious as other banquets, the pleasure we experienced was priceless.
All in all, my mother's birthday is just a simple celebration, but it is full of love and happiness for each other. Our food served as a way to get together and give pleasure to our family and friends. The simple celebration became meaningful because of the joy we felt. Maybe next time, we will make a tastier and happier celebration.
