Greetings nature lovers who give life to the #AmazingNature Community. Today I want to share with you some photos I took of some invasive insects that have come out in droves because of the rains. Although I'm #TeamCold and #TeamILoveTheRain I don't like to see the amount of insects fluttering around the bulbs after a good while of drizzle.
One of the first pictures I show you is of a rather annoying insect that I think can be even dangerous because it gives off a bad smell when touched as a method of defense as well as a substance that can cause skin allergies. They also tend to bite you if you get in their way, which in turn can cause allergies again due to insect bites.
In my house, so many came out in the first days of July that we had to keep the garage and porch lights off to keep them from swarming the bulbs and also to keep them from getting into the house. It still happened and at night it was a nightmare to watch them fly back and forth or feel them walking up your leg or digging through your hair.
For a few nights they kept me awake at night and their bad smell after stripping them with my shoe permeated the whole atmosphere of the room for a long time. I even found it difficult to kill them many times because I thought they were dead and then I saw them walking around my bed with their shells bruised as if nothing had happened. They were like immortal beetles!
As for the second insect you see from the third photo onwards, it is known as a ground beetle and this one is much more harmless than the first one, it is only annoying but it has not proliferated as much as the previous one.
The third insect I don't know what it's called or what it is. I was curious to see it sitting there on the back of the chair so passively. It may be related to the chipo, but I honestly don't know. I only took the picture because it caught my eye.
Let me know in the comments if your house has been invaded by any insects during the rainy season, mine has and for several days. Greetings! 💕

¡Saludos! 💕
