Greetings beautiful people of the #HolosLotus Comunity. A few days ago I was invited to participate in the initiative What was th, above all, be your parents gave you?. Although I read that it ended recently, I still want to participate in responding to the invitation of my friend @yasmarit.
If you usually read my content, you will know that the relationship I have with my parents is not very healthy. We have our good days and other bad days, for venting about my family problems with people that I thought were very close friends of mine, they have grabbed my parents' thing and even gave me the solution to leave home without having a stable job or work cleaning toilets somewhere here in Venezuela and to keep me in the time that I would get a job, their suggestion was: Do Power Down.
Well, no. Those people were extremely wrong with the radical solution they got me. I am currently looking for a job, expanding my a bit more my Academic Advising business, (since 2022 I created), it is now that my parents are giving me support and advertising me among their contacts. I would also like to work more fully in Hive as a Moderator, but so far this is not happening.
Having said the above, I start with my participation in the initiative proposed by @charjaim a few weeks ago.
The fact that my parents tend to be more toxic by giving me to understand their destructive criticism as if they were constructive, besides ignoring me when I need them the most to get good love, that one that only parents know how to give, and even that they are the type who look for me only when they need something from me, even so I love them, accept them and thank God for allowing me to be their daughter.
And I admit it, I also accept it: I am not an easy person, I have many ailments and many flaws, I have also made a huge amount of mistakes in which I have emotionally hurt my parents so many times that I have already lost count. So no, I am not a perfect daughter and I don't blame them for the way they raised me. All in all, they did their best and I thank them from the bottom of my heart.
Now, what have my parents and the people who have marked a moment in my life taught me? The answer is simple, a little long maybe, I don't know but I could make a kind of list to avoid making this post so long and annoying.
I think this encompasses a lot of the aspects that my parents have instilled in me. So this initiative, although I was somewhat reluctant to participate in it because I thought of the bad, is clear proof that out of everything bad always comes something good, even if we don't see it. I hope you enjoyed the reading, until a future post. 💚
