Β Happy midweek, dear Hivers! and a special greeting to the #MoviesAndTVShows Community. A few weeks ago, a good friend here on the platform recommended that I watch this movie, and it caught my attention because of its main character, who also worked in the Maze Runner saga.
Β This is Dylan O'Brien, one of the sexiest and youngest actors in Hollywood today, of whom I've been a fan since I saw him debut in the above-mentioned saga. This time he stars in another thriller that I found quite good, I'll tell you about it: Caddo Lake.
Β For me, it was a pretty good film, with a peculiar, innovative, and very well-told story. Besides that, the photography used, the panoramic views of the lake, and the performances of all the actors who participated in it, stood out a lot.
Β I saw this recommendation from
Β This film tells the story of the disappearance of a little girl in a lake called Caddo. And among the suspense and confusion of knowing what happened to the little girl, where is she? Who took her and why? the director of the film takes you little by little to an unexpected plot twist.
Β I loved the ending, I wasn't expecting it I was super excited like the Chris Pratt gif. π€£π€£π€£
Graphic example of my face at the end of the movie:
Β That is, in addition to the disappearance of the girl and being the typical film where the police are looking for her, the plot that develops goes beyond that. Quite intriguing things happen, as well as strange, and before these kinds of situations occur, the director makes sure that you click with the characters, and that you empathize with them.
Β In one way or another I identified with Ellie, that contempt, rejection, and such a bad relationship with her mother, that is, I saw myself painted there. And then the unexpected happens and everything makes sense, as if the blindfold is removed from your eyes.
Β I liked it a lot, I recommend it π―% because it has a story that is told in a very simple way and the best, you can tell that they knew how to do it, that is, there are no holes in the plot, or with the characters, everything is clarified, justified and with its ending, you are only left thinking about the possibility that this is real and it could happen to someone, well at least that's what I thought π€£ but my mind flies a lot with crazy ideas. So I also give it its:
