Anger isn't as bad as people paint it as. If anything, it's a form of communication, just like you've rightly pointed out, it's a sign that you're aware of being wronged and you're passing that message to the other party.
Even the good book didn't condemn anger. It only said we should be slow to anger. It is not the same thing when people encourage pushovers because they're 'peaceful'.
