Bitcoin price action started to explode. It jumped back up to 30, 40, and up to 260. I was telling people at work about it and I was being mocked. They were creating memes with my name as a coin. So it made me hesitate. Then one day when Bitcoin was at $800 I finally jumped in and jumped in big time.
At this time I also got into Litecoin and all other alt coins. I saw how difficult it was to buy Bitcoin let alone alt coins. I used localbitcoins to buy btc, going to banks and deposited cash into other people's accounts. I then caught the run up of LTC up to 50 and started profited on physical digital coins. That's right, physical digital coins. Coins which had holograms hiding the private keys of a Bitcoin or Litecoin.
I was selling on eBay and sold hundreds of coins. I even sold quark on eBay for 5x the price I was buying it for on the exchanges. In less than 3 months I made over $60k on collectibles. The biggest sales coming from Casascius physical Bitcoins. I sold others like lealana and microsoul. My username wafdawg on Bitcointalk.org trust level is through the roof.

So today my investment in crytpo is 100% in btc. Buying ether is difficult if you live in NYC. The run up in btc before the halving was such an easy call. And the next leg up is up to 1000 will probably occur by year end right after the elections.
My best advice to anyone who wants to make money is to not take advice from people who have no money.
This is after all nothing more than my hobby. I have a career in finance, hold 4 licenses, and of course have ties to traditional investment vehicles but without a doubt the opportunities in the crytpo world is enormous.
That's what has led me to Steemit. If I can profit, great, if not, oh well. I'm a bit on the fence on the concept. Definitely seems ponzi-esque. And the "value" supposedly curators and content providers actually provide is minimal at best but let's see how it goes.
Now that's a real intro, i have real "value" to provide but if it's all about tits and ass on steemit then this will also fall into the dustpans of all other shitcoins. And that's the reality of it.
