Hello
Building a beautiful, strong and big house requires a lot of work and money. It needs a thoughtful planning and design, materials and labourers must work together to produce a magnificent house.
But any magnificent house without a strong foundation is just a grave. Even though a foundation is always buried in the ground, but it is the most important part of the strength of the house. People may not know how does the foundation of your house look like but testing times will reveal its strength.
This is the lesson we learn in Mathew 7: 24-27
24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
This portion of the scripture is a conclusion of the sermon on the mountain. Those who were listening to him, they were caught in awe because the had never seen someone teach with such authority. Even today his words carry the same authority. So what he was trying to say in this those who obey the authority of his words and those who disobey the authority of his words they will have different outcome ultimately in life.
What we can learn
Pexel.com
- Each one of us is building his or her life on a certain foundation. Philosophy or belief and values.
On what foundation do you build your life? Because no life exist without some form of foundation. Whether you are aware or not but your life is built on some foundation. The question is what is the foundation, and will it sustain you to the end, when you encounter an enemy stronger than you?
We live in an information age, at every turn we have a flood of information and easy access to it, but this information has complicated our lives, decision are hard to make and every body claims to be an expert in something, thus their words should be treated seriousness.
So far many people have been hurt by these floods of information, they think because it is in the internet it must be true. People have lost even common sense because of what the see and hear on TVs, social media and other media outlets.
But a simple solution to our predicaments is this, we have left the best policy. We have forsaken the best life philosophy, the word of God. The word of God contains all pertains life. But we can readily trust people's words than God's, it is sad. We need to take his word serious, if we are to be wise, build our lives with wisdom and live wisely. If we do not we are going to destroy our lives with our own hands, because man's life philosophy can never sustain man.
- Our lives may look identical, until a storm strikes.
This is so true, sometimes some people may even look better than you in the outside appearance, but on the inside they have built their live on man's wisdom, philosophy and techniques.
Nevertheless storms can never be cheated, it always reveal what their made off when it strikes their lives.

- Storms of life are a reality, it is not the matter of if they come but when they come.
No one is immune to life challenges, troubles and testing times. It doesn't matter who you are, a believer or unbeliever. What separates us is how we survive, those times.
God said, when you go through fire it shall not burn you, when you go through floods will not engulf you. You see, He never said you will never go through it, but it shall have not impact on you.

- We have a choice to obey His word or disobey, but we cannot escape the aftermath.
God has you usual does not force people to believe what he wants them to believe. He gives people freedom to choose. However he foretells us what would be the outcome of our choice.
Good and strong lives are built with good and thoughtful decisions.
Thank you for your time
