The morning trumpet sound feels like the start of a new day—so loud it could jolt anyone who is confused, tired, or devastated. Soldiers and paramilitary officers stand alert and ready for a new day.
I jumped down from my bunk and headed straight to the parade ground for the day's activities.
We began the day with Christian thanksgiving songs and other worship songs. Non-Christians attended the mosque in such a way that the time intervals were similar. After that, we recited the national anthem, the NYSC anthem, and more.
A morning motivation was read to us, and it was truly captivating. It was based on creativity both within and outside the box.
Afterwards, we did morning exercises, and they were fun. Then the parade ground was set up. However, due to my tibiofibular synostosis, I had earlier refused to join the parade. As we watched the parade, I made some wonderful friends on the ground—one of whom was Taiwo, a short girl with a light skin complexion.
We chatted, and it was really enjoyable.
During the morning and evening parades, I took these pictures for the Shadow Hunters contest.
Shout out to my parents and friends. It was truly beautiful.
Thanks , and ecency for being my motivation behind this post.
Take your time to join the #BBH projects too.
