Hey again, back with another blog. Today we will dive into the middle of my skincare routine where I prepare my skin for hydration and moisture with a toner. Toners come in different formulations for different purposes like addditional hydration or balancing the pH-value.
My toner, Thayers Alcohol-Free Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner, helps me prepare my skin for my serums and moisturiser as well as minimise my pores. I saw an immediate result after the first week. On the website, it is suppose to soften and calm the skin with it's ingredients. Rose water has properties like anti-oxidants that protects the skin cells from damage. Witch Hazel, the main ingredient, helps with inflammation and redness. Like the names states, it is alcohol-free and does not dry out the skin.
I started using this since September 2017 and it went well with my cleanser in my earlier blog. When it does finish, I hope to switch with a Korean toner I've been eyeing.
Thanks for reading and hope you enjoyed! See you on the next one!
