Siempre quiero participar de los jueves de TBT y la verdad, siempre me olvido 😁. Pero el día de hoy, quiero rememorar algo que sucedió, no hace mucho tiempo. Mar del tuyú, invitado por mi amigo @editorojo para pasar fiestas de fin de años en la costa. Fiel a mi estilo, quería pasarlo en mi casa como siempre lo he hecho, pero la familia pudo más y allá fuimos.

! [English] Today I want to participate in TBT Thursdays and I always forget 😁. But today, I want to remember something that happened, not so long ago. Mar del tuyú, invited by my friend @editorojo to spend end-of-year parties on the coast. True to my style, I wanted to spend it at home as I always have, but the family could do more and there we went.

      Viéndome como estaba físicamente en ese momento, creo que estaba mejor que ahora. Recuerdo que estaba saliendo del reto burpees anual y me sentía pleno realmente. Esa jarra amarilla donde preparábamos el fernet, es de un canal de YouTube muy famoso, pero tan famoso, que no recuerdo el nombre 😁. Así soy, bastante olvidadizos y más aún de las cosas superficiales.

! [English] Seeing me as I was physically at the time, I think I was better than I was now. I remember coming out of the annual burpees challenge and I felt really full. That yellow jug where we prepared the fernet, is from a very famous YouTube channel, but so famous, that I don't remember the name 😁. That's how I am, quite forgetful and even more so of superficial things.

      Mi amigo no es de hacer asado y a decir verdad, yo tampoco. Pero ese día, me armé de coraje y paciencia y me puse manos a la obra. Recibí el aplauso de todos los comensales, sinceramente no sé si fue por cortesía o de verdad estaba rico. Tampoco importaba mucho, ya que en momentos festivos y más aún el 31 de diciembre, en lo particular me siento muy eufórico, por lo que fue el año y por lo que vendrá.

! [English] My friend is not to roast and to tell the truth, neither am I. But that day, I armed myself with courage and patience and set to work. I received applause from all the diners, I honestly don't know if it was out of courtesy or if I was really rich. It didn't matter much either, as at festive times and even more so on December 31, I feel very euphoric in particular, about what was the year and what is to come.

      Son esos momentos simples, en familia, con mis hijos y los hijos de Ricardo, Pamela y Zuni, que no se conocían. Ahí estábamos, dos familias argentinas viviendo un momento de algarabía y festejos. Realmente lo recuerdo con mucho cariño a todos ellos y sobre todo ese momento, en ese lugar.

! [English] It's those simple moments, as a family, with my children and Ricardo's children, Pamela and Zuni, that they didn't know each other. There we were, two Argentine families living a moment of hubbub and celebrations. I really remember it fondly to all of them and especially that moment, in that place.

      Dicen por ahí, que recordar es volver a vivir. Sinceramente no lo sé, pero me encantó recordar este momento. Creo que como seres humanos, tenemos una cierta obligación, de generar momentos como estos para nuestras familias y sobre todo, para nosotros. Creo que eso es lo que nos llevamos de este plano y más nada.

! [English] They say that remembering is living again. I honestly don't know, but I loved remembering this moment. I believe that as human beings, we have a certain obligation to create moments like these for our families and above all, for ourselves. I think that's what we get off this plane and nothing more.

      Soy una persona que siempre me estoy poniendo metas, algunas algunas las puedo llevar a cabo y otras no tanto. Pero siempre intentando mejorar mi situación y disfrutar el proceso. No soy de los que piensan de que debemos solamente disfrutar del momento porque es lo único que tenemos. Quizás sí, pero el futuro depende de las decisiones que tomamos hoy. Lo material es muy importante y el dinero más aún. Conservarlo, invertirlo es nuestra responsabilidad.

! [English] I am a person who is always setting goals, some I can achieve and others not so much. But always trying to improve my situation and enjoy the process. I'm not one to think we should just enjoy the moment because it's all we have. Perhaps so, but the future depends on the decisions we make today. Material is very important and money even more so. To preserve it, to invest it is our responsibility.
