Tonight I started at 19.00H with drawing on paper.
I start directly to paint on the paper, without a sketch, it’s a free style type of drawing.
Put the paintmarker on the paper and go! It’s like letting your hand just flow over the paper. I only pause for some minutes in between and finish the drawing in one go.
I made a black and a pink drawing.
I listen to some relaxing music and drink my favorite black coffee.
Plus I made this drawing of a log.
I had this idea of drawing a log; I do fitness and weightlifting with logs in my garden.
So the idea for the log drawing came from my passion for lifting heavy logs as an exercise. I am working on a serie of drawings about weightlifting, which will be used as an illustration for apparel. Above the log drawing there will be text, like ‘log lifter’ of ‘I lift logs’.
That was my creative activity between 19.00H and 21.00H ( cet ), which I wanted to share with you. On the picture you see other drawings from the past 2 days. I bought this paper block only 2 days ago.

My name is Dimitrov, I’m from the Netherlands.
With this blog I Iike to give you an insight into my life as an artist. I make paintings and drawings, on paper, canvas and digital. I do make money with my art, but it’s not a steady income and it's certainly not easy; I don’t have a job on the side. It’s an adventurous life to be an artist. There are times that I’m really living on the edge and don’t know if I have enough money to live the next week. I’m always very thankful to people who are liking, sharing and buying my art and supporting me to go on. It’s my talent, creating art gives me power to live. I live in my studio: the Paintcave.
