This was the last song of their set at the last Celtic Night festival in Geluwe on 2 september.
For filming I started 6 years ago with a simple Sony pocketcamera. Then moved to a Samsung Note. And since 2 years I have a Samsung NX1 that films awesome quality in 4K. It has become a sort of cult camera, because the Samsung management (now behind bars) decided to end the camera line, although they finally made a camera that at the time outperformed the high end cameras of Canon, Nikon, Sony etc.
The same year I made a 'crazy' decision and decided to buy the best lens you can find on the market. As cameras come and go, but good lenses keep their value. The Otus 55mm costed more than double of the camera, but the complete combo is still cheaper than a Sony A9 body (that people like sweetssj use). The thing weighs a ton though and that's why it is not as easy to keep it steady. But the images that come out of it are fantastic and pin sharp when in focus. It is a completely manual lens, without autofocus, but I like to focus manually while filming and use this feature as a 'zoom' while the lens has a fixed length and cannot zoom. The 'shakiness' together with the sharpness and the typical Zeiss popping colors, give you the feeling of really 'being there'. In dark scenes like these, I turn the lens completely open to f1.4 and the image stays incredibly sharp in focus, but the depth of field is very narrow, so that sometimes some aspects of a person are very detailed, while others a bit more close or more far away are blurred, but even this 'blurring' looks very nice. I really love this lens, although she makes my back ache :-p
I have a Otus 85mm too, but I seldom use it and if I had bought bitcoins with that money then, I could have bought me 10 of these freaking expensive Otuses now. So that was a not such a good investment, should have get rid of it 2 years ago :-)
