The focus of the gathering of the brethrens is to see one another and not for offering or tithes
Hebrew 10:24-25
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Thus in seeing one another we see and know how our brethrens are doing, and thus we can be provoked to do good.
We should have sense of care and concern for one another and this in gathering of the brethren we will be provoked to do good works.
Mathew 26:41
Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Being a Christian also requires maintenance, thus we continually get exhorted upon, and showing of concern, love for one another.
James 2:1-4
My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.
For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?
In the Christian community there are those who are poor and those who are rich, so we should never malign anybody or neglect the poor.
1 Corinthians 11:22
What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.
1 Corinthians 11:21
For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
2 John 1:12
Having many things to write unto you, I would not write with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full.
Perfect joy can be felt when you are with the brethrens.
Acts 20:7
And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
The gathering of the brethren is solely to see one another, exhort one another, see if any brother needs help.
1 Corinthians 14:26
How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.
When we gather everyone should have a Psalm, there should be singing because singing is the most joyful thing in life.
When the world was been created the angels were singing.
Job 38:4-7
Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
