I really did do this, haha. Yes, this is being played in-game, and I originally wanted to make an accompanying stage and have dancing crabs in the stage, but I realized I don't have the skills to accomplish that (yet), lol. Hopefully, you like the port!

Tools used:
►Sekaiju - MIDI Editor
►SEQ64 - Program to turn MIDIs into M64 files.
►SM64 ROM Manager - Importing the song in-game
►N64SoundTool - Rearranging the game samples for the song
