O assunto do dia é um tema aparentemente polêmico na comunidade, mas uma realidade com a qual devemos conviver e, confesso, tenho procurado tirar alguma vantagem nesse início de jornada: bots.
Você é contra, a favor ou neutro em relação a eles?

Quando comecei a jogar, via o pessoal mais experiente falando que estava enfrentado muitos bots, outros falando que estavam farmando 4 ou mais contas, alguns reclamando que era muito desleal, porque os bots eram muito mais inteligentes que o ser humano, pois tinha uma larga base de dodas para fazer seus cálculos e selecionar o time. Eu não estava entendendo muito bem, e fui atrás de pesquisar.

Descobri que existem uma diversidade de bots no ecossistema de splinterlands, tanto online quanto pra instalar na sua máquina e colocá-los pra jogar no seu lugar, com resultados a meu ver, fantásticos. Aproveitei que o xbot (https://xbot.app/) está grátis por 7 dias, me cadastrei e botei o bichinho pra rodar.

Esse era o meu desempenho antes do xbot (gráfico gerado em outro serviço de bot, o Archmage (https://archmage.app/). Ainda aprendendo, ganhando algumas, perdendo várias em sequência, mas avançando, subindo o Bronze III, quase entrando no Bronze II, me virando com as cartas iniciais:

Negócio de bot me surpreendeu, o bicho é muito eficiente, sabendo explorar com maestria seus recursos. O gráfico abaixo demonstra bem sobre o que estamos falando:

Até a partida 25, era o pablito jogando, "devagar e sempre". Quando estava pra entrar no Bronze II aluguei minhas primeiras cartas, porque descobri que não estava farmando baús por estar jogando apenas com as cartas iniciais 🙃. Quando cheguei no Bronze II (400 pontos), recarreguei as energias, fui dormir e botei o bot pra jogar.

Do 25 em diante, é o xbot jogando na minha conta. Percebam a reta vertiginosa, são 10 vitórias em sequência, 2 derrotas e mais 12 vitórias na sequência, que na verdade foram 15, mas o print do gráfico foi antes de fechar a win strake. Sinal de que o bot sabia jogar muito melhor com minhas cartas do que eu, pobre novato, ainda aprendendo as manhas do jogo.

Com isso saltei logo pro tier prata, dei uma jogadinha por mim mesmo, e liberei mais energias pro bot, enquanto eu dormia 😴💤. Quando acordei, o bendito tinha alcançando o auge da sua competência, pelo meio do Prata I, e daí começou uma sequencia de ganha-e-perde e caiu dos 1700 pontos pra 1650, mais ou menos:

E depois disso, ele empacou, começou a perder e hoje estamos com 1520 pontos, transitando entre o Prata II e o Prata I.

Parece que preciso alugar cartas melhores. Minha meta é competir no top 10 do Prata, e faturar, pelo menos 10k DECs. Por enquanto, estamos assim:

Baús e recompensas

Esses serviços de bot permitem você regular o quanto o cumprimento do Focus impacta na seleção dos times, entre totalmente focado no foco 😁 e "dane-se o foco, eu quero é vencer". Como estou começando, preciso adquirir cartas e outros recursos, deixei ele programado no meio-a-meio. Todo dia eu costumo alugar algumas cartas pra complementar o foco, e se eu gostar de alguma, a mantenho na minha coleção, caso contrário a dispenso após os 2 dias de aluguel obrigatório. Vejam o quanto o xbot faturou pra mim:

Foram 12 baús e 2.85 SPS no dia 16 de abril, 9 baús e 9.58 SPS (já no Prata) no dia 17 e apenas 3 baús e 2.49 SPS no dia 18, quando ele deu aquela empacada. Além disso, já tenho 60 baús de temporada.

Quanto custa, ou é de graça?

"De graça, até injeção na testa", como diria o bot de giveaways do servidor da nossa guilda Brazil. 🤑

O Período de avaliação ainda nem chegou na metade, mas fico me perguntando se invisto ou não no serviço. Um token do xbot Lite, que permite ir até o gold, está custando cerca de 50 dólares, enquanto o token full, que pode me levar até a Champions League 😎, está por volta dos 100 dólares.

Os tokens do Archmage têm valores acima, abaixo e entre esses do xbot, e pelo que vi, eles cobram uma taxa sobre os SPS farmados. Confesso que ainda não estudei essa segunda opção, por não ter a opção de avaliar o serviço antes de contratar.

E temos, também, os bots que rodam direto da sua máquina. Já baixei um aqui pra testar, mas ainda não tive tempo. Quando concluir minhas análises volto aqui pra dizer pra vocês que decisão tomei.

Vejo vocês em Splinterlands e, se cruzarem meu caminho nas ranqueadas ou até mesmo em torneios - o xbot tem um serviço adicional que sugere times pras suas partidas de torneio - tomem cuidado, pq pode ser meu bot afiado enfrentando você. 😁

The subject of the day is a seemingly controversial topic in the community, but a reality we must live with, and I confess I have been trying to take some advantage of it in this early stage of my journey: bots.
Are you against, in favor, or neutral about them?

When I started playing, I saw more experienced people talking about facing many bots, others talking about farming 4 or more accounts, some complaining that it was very unfair because bots were much smarter than humans, as they had a large database to make their calculations and select the team. I didn't understand it very well, so I went to research it.

I found out that there are a variety of bots in the splinterlands ecosystem, both online and to install on your machine and let them play in your place, with results that, in my view, are fantastic. I took advantage of the fact that the xbot (https://xbot.app/) is free for 7 days, registered and put the little creature to run.

This was my performance before xbot (graph generated in another bot service, Archmage (https://archmage.app/). Still learning, winning some, losing several in a row, but advancing, climbing Bronze III, almost entering Bronze II with the initial cards set:

The bot business surprised me, it's is very efficient, knowing how to masterfully exploit yours resources. The graph below shows exactly what we are talking about:

From 25 onwards, its xbot playing on my account. Notice the steep line, 10 consecutive victories, 2 losses, and 12 more consecutive victories, which were actually 15, but the graph print was taken before closing the win streak. A sign that the bot knew how to play much better with my cards than I, a poor novice, still learning the tricks of the game.

With that, I jumped straight to the Silver tier, played a little by myself, and released more energy for the bot while I slept 😴💤. When I woke up, the blessed bot had reached the peak of its competence, in the middle of Silver I, and then a sequence of win-and-lose began, dropping from 1700 points to 1650, more or less:

And after that, it stalled, started losing, and today we have 1520 points, moving around Silver II and Silver I.

It seems that I need to rent better cards. My goal is to compete in the top 10 of Silver and earn at least 10k DECs. For now, we are like this:

Chests and rewards

These bot services allow you to adjust how much emphasis is placed on fulfilling the Focus in team selection, from being completely focused on the Focus 😁 to "screw the Focus, I just want to win." As I'm just starting out, I need to acquire cards and other resources, so I've set it to a 50/50 split. Every day, I usually rent some cards to supplement my focus, and if I like any of them, I keep them in my collection, otherwise I discard them after the mandatory 2-day rental period. Look at how much xbot has earned to me:

It were 12 chests and 2.85 SPS on the april 16th, 9 chests and 9.58 SPS (already in Silver) on the 17th, and only 3 chests and 2.49 SPS on the 18th, when it hit a snag. Additionally, I already have 60 season chests, so far.

The trial period isn't even halfway over yet, but I'm wondering whether to invest in the service or not. A token for xbot Lite, which allows me to reach Gold tier, costs around $50, while the full token, which can take me all the way to the Champions League 😎, is around $100.

Archmage tokens have values above, below, and in between those of xbot, and from what I've seen, they charge a fee for the farmed SPS. I confess that I haven't studied this second option yet, because I can't evaluate the service before hiring it.

We also have bots that run directly from your machine. I've downloaded one to test, but I haven't had time yet. When I finish my analysis, I'll come back here to tell you what decision I've made.
