I discovered a group of enemies guarding a mine filled with treasure. Using focus abilities and stealth, I eliminated the guards and looted a chest containing special armor alongside many dirhams. Navigating past a waterfall and climbing a ladder, I emerged safely into the silent, empty desert dunes above.
My path finally opened, though I knew I needed to proceed with caution as more enemies likely waited ahead. Moving deeper into the cavern, I spotted roughly six guards stationed around a large treasure horde left behind by former miners.
I quietly approached a lone guard standing near my position and assassinated him without making a sound.
Looking down from my ledge, I saw the remaining enemies gathered below. Rather than risk a standard chain assassination, I activated my special focus ability, took down three targets in rapid succession before they could react.
Only a single guard survived the sudden strike, and he immediately lunged at me with his weapon. I parried his incoming attacks, found an opening, and drove my sword directly into his chest.
With the guards defeated, the area was secure, leaving me free to collect all the riches scattered across the chamber. Loose dirhams littered the floor in every direction.
At the center, I unlocked a massive chest and claimed a piece of special armor from inside. It seemed these men had died guarding a fortune that ultimately brought them nothing.
With the fight over and the treasure looted, I began searching for a path out of the cavern. I noticed a subtle opening situated behind a cascading waterfall and pushed forward to investigate. The route led directly through the falling water, providing a clear path out of the subterranean complex.
As I navigated the exit, I discovered a few more minor treasures tucked into the rock faces along the trail.
Eventually, I reached a tall ladder scaling the cavern wall and climbed upward toward the surface. I half-expected a band of waiting bandits to ambush me as I reached the top, but the ground above remained completely undisturbed.
No enemies or lingering threats waited at the exit, leaving only the quiet expanse of the desert dunes stretching out under the open sky.
