How are you, friends? Best wishes to you all, wherever you are. I hope we can continue our activities as usual.

Every Indonesian Independence Day celebration, students dress in traditional and professional attire for the carnival. This can be before or after the flag ceremony.

One of these students is wearing traditional Minangkabau clothing, also known as Padang traditional clothing. They've been adorned as beautifully as possible for the carnival.

When I took the first picture, I didn't give any instructions; she stood in a very simple pose, according to her personality. However, I then gave her directions for any pose she preferred.

I took this picture just before the carnival began. Here are some of the portraits I managed to capture.
