After watching yesterday's testimony, one thing was clear - there is zero evidence to support Dr Christine Blasey Ford' s claim that Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her.
While most of us felt sorry for Dr Christine Blasey Ford, it became clear she was not been frank:
- She was too scared to fly to testify, but flies all over the place for work and pleasure
- She was not in California and did not have to fly anyway
- She was not aware the Judiciary Committee had offered to come to her and take her testimony in private
- The people she named as witnesses have sworn it did not happen
- The explanation of what took place during the polygraph was very strange
- She did not know who was paying her legal bills
She is obviously a very intelligent woman who all too often played dumb when it suited her.
By contrast, there was a lot of evidence that Brett Kavanaugh did not assault her - not least the sworn statements by the witnesses named by Dr Christine Blasey Ford.
