Okay, it is 1 a.m here and I'm up virtually doing nothing. Can't even think of something to do. Isn't the mind supposed to be at rest at this time of the night? Why is it always difficult to sleep when you are lost in thought? Why isn't it easy to blank our minds completely? Why don't we have a measure of control over this mind? How come the mind is more powerful than the house itself? Would we ever be able to tame the mind?
