A whole machinery of propaganda, legislation and education needs to be ignited in order to (re)train and literally brain wash people's minds for the desired outcome.

I think rather that the whole machinery has retrained us to have become inured to the idea of war altogether. We take it as a given, a necessary evil, and essentially, shamefully, ignore war. We let our criminal legislators decide, when they are not also ignoring war. It certainly seems they have abdicated their responsibilities in that regard in the US.

I knew nothing about all this Russia hate going on in Europe. Boy those Russians are coming in handy as scapegoats again, aren't they? Same old same old. Smacks of McCarthyism. Terrifying.
