people...are unable to find new ways to add value so that they feel relevant.
I wonder if our youth even think of this as a goal anymore? It seems to be all about the money. They are happy to work for entities that do harm, such as the war machine. I read somewhere that more than half of Americans work for the medical machine in some way, another area that is, in my opinion, doing much more harm than good. It's as if many of us, especially those on the younger side, have been deadened to the ramifications of what they do. As long as they are making six figures or more, they feel like successes. Nothing else goes into their thinking, such as "is what I am doing good for others, or for the world?"
with fewer people having families,
one sure does feel relevant when they are raising kids, or I did anyway.
How are we supposed to think up valuable comments on your posts when they contain such cute photos of your puppy!? And, most importantly, how's your white carpet holding up with a new puppy in the house?
