disdain for the stirrings of the senses

I don't like the word "disdain here", I think MA meant something else.

How long has it been since you’ve been truly excited to get out of bed and start your day?

Now that you ask,I have to say I feel that way every day. I begin my mornings cuddling with my super cuddly dog, happy to see her and kiss her and love her up good. It is a lovely way to begin a day. _{What does this say about me?}

I hop out of bed delighted, looking forward to morning chores which are mostly to make the creatures in my home happy with their looked-forward-to morning meal. Once that's done, it's a stretch of me time, checking in on my hiveans, a bit of email this or that, wordle, connections and reading the frontpage news in the NYTimes (to see what lies we are being told that day)- all in that order. I'm especially happy when 10am rolls around - breakfast for the human. A couple hours study on homeopathy
and it's out to the garden for a bit with me, where I make my pooch happy by playing with her. The homeopathy has given me an unsought for purpose - I thought I was well past having that kind of gumption, or the opportunity - but here it is, my new vocation. I am all in.

There's no mistaking someone whose truly found their purpose because they seem to glow from the inside out and become almost magnetic to those around them.

I like that statement.
