There is a great deal that I love about this poem. I imagine that this stanza could give a negative charge to readers of a bleaker mindset:
Life is lightning, after all
and just as hard to contain,
nothing more than
a static charge in the hem
of this tiny universe,
but I found it very exciting - it gave me a positive charge, a jump start of sorts. A curious feeling of immense power, even as I felt infinitesimally small. There are infinite dimensions in that bit. Mystical.
Then you go on to talk about the repercussions of our tinynesses.
each one tattles and teaches,
until there are simply
no secrets at all.
So simple, I want to cry for joy. This one is great Eric.
