Hello! It's interesting that you picked up on the freewrite nature of this particular post. My daughter was visiting, and I had very little time to blog, so I had no choice but to just let this one write itself, and quickly. Normally I spend many hours on contest entries, writing, rewriting, rearranging, formatting and the like. This one only took a few hours, a bit here and another bit there, to get all done. I'm happy it read so coherently. It did take a bit of guts to put out there - who wants to admit romantic love is not a driving force in their life anymore? But, like you, I get joy from many other activities and creatures, and from just being myself without the input of some other human I'm expected to make happy. Sex is a separate issue altogether, and that is driven by hormone levels, which obviously wane as we age. I am much picker about who I want to see in their skivvies, or less, much much pickier.
