I find numbers comforting too. But I know why that is. Math is the only subject taught in school that can be understood perfectly, no opinions or disagreements. Math was the only subject I enjoyed because of this. The rest were too taxing for my self esteem.

I was self employed too, couldn't do well as an employee, got into trouble regularly, but could manage others very well, or so I thought.
