In the US, if we make property improvements with our own money, such as run electric to the house, or put in a driveway, we have to also pay more in real estate taxes. Any cars bought with our own money, are taxed when they are bought, registered, gassed, driven on roads, or repaired. We cost our employers taxes just for walking in their doors, and for every step we take thereafter. The money we earn to purchase these things is taxed when we earn it. It's absurd. Financial slavery.
