Thankfully the author wrote a better book than this reviewer read. The book is intricately woven, for sure, lots of work went into that aspect. I experienced it on a much deeper level. There is a fantastic epilogue that slam dunks the whole book together, and blew my mind. lol.
I really loved this book, unusual for me these days, modern lit is mostly cleverly banal, This one is cleverly mind-blowing.
I wrote a poem today, one of a collection modeled after an exercise we did for the homeopathy training. I haven't been writing much poetry, talk about banal. But this one I like very much:
is it normal
to feel as though
you have only one choice
