I don't know why I opposed the covid policies so strenuously right from the start exactly, but I was certain that living the way they tried to force us to live was harmful to health, every single measure. I could see that the only people getting really sick were the people who followed the measures to a T; they were frightened into being ill.

But mostly, I just refused to live that way. I did absolutely none of it. I continued to socialize without restrictions (with the few people in my life who felt the same), I did not sanitize one single thing (faked using sanitizers in stores), shopped in stores that were not enforcing masks, and never ever watched the news. I was caring for someone who was in several high risk groups (as was I) and neither of us had any trouble. We also did not live in fear.

Then the vaccine came along, and I knew we were in big trouble. Course, I knew that back when Obama care mandate went into effect. Some of us recognize fascism more easily than others I suppose. Anyway, back then I stopped buying health insurance; my little spate of civil disobedience started with obama care.

Make that first step, and the following steps are easier to take.
