I suspect if I want to maximize my yield in my tiny yard, I won't be able to be so loosey goosey on how I plant stuff.

I put in beets, carrots, daikon, lettuce and arugula a couple days ago, under hoops and garden fabric. We'll see if starting this early produces anything at all.
