The graphene idea came from a video I watched of someone tearing a graphene strip out of a sanitary pad, getting it wet, rubbing it a bit, and it lit up a lightbulb!!! For real! So women who use this particular pad have a current running through their private parts when their pads get wet! I ripped one apart, but couldn't find anything.

So my character was harming herself bodily, besides being imprisoned in her living space. Like covid measures, everyone harming themselves for the good of everyone else. Now the ruse has moved into climate change measures, that will harm us for no good reason. World's nutty as all get out!
