OK so while I was talking about lousy math teachers and the damage they do to psyches, you were going all mathematician on me with Venn diagrams.

You remember how to divide by fractions for god's sake. When was the last time you had to do that? I know high scoring high school students who have to take out their calculators, convert fractions to decimals, do the operation, then turn decimals back to fractions, just to do what you remember how to do. You LEARNED this in grade school, and you learned it well.

I'd like to throttle your first grade math teacher.

I am really good at math, but I could not do Venn diagrams.
