It doesn't seem possible that someone as vibrant as Kelly could have this illness, and awful prognosis. Eat more fruit, indeed. I don't think I've had any for a couple of weeks, now that I read this.

Doctors love to prescribe antacids for tummy aches. They are one of three meds you are very likely to be told to take, no matter what you have - antacids, steroids, antibiotics. This simply does not make any sense. I'm so mad at her doctors!!! Tums, if anything, made her condition worse.
