Work happens to be one of the crucial thing that keeps people focus at it. For me my office is my phone so whenever I'm on my phone, I hardly go doom scrolling however, whenever something comes up that I need to attend to, very important than the work I'm doing, I drop my phone and go for it.
I think it's the matter of priorities and work. People that don't have any work to do have enough time to scroll...
