Mass Indoctrination Day Six 5th December 2022
We where talking about prayer and the doctrines of prayer in the Bible so we built from where we stopped.
Elijah the servant of God prayed that it will not rain and it did not rain for 3years six month and he prayed again and rain fell. The prayer of a righteous man has benefits. There are two kinds of sin in the bible, sin unto death and sin not unto death. If we sin against our brother it is not sin onto death for he shall ask for forgiveness and we shall give him life again. If our brother sins against us we should not spread rumors about it instead we should pray for him or her to change.
In the church we are not supposed to hate a brother who sin, we are supposed to love and care for that person because love forgives multitude of sin. The thought of foolishness is also a sin in the book of proverbs, and if you say something bad against someone too is a sin. Sin is always committed on the surface of the earth. Confessions is done first onto God and then to the person we commit the offense to and God will forgive us our sins. He that covers his sin shall not prosper but whoever confesses shall have mercy. It is a wonderful thing of love to pray for one another and for those that sin against us that their sins be forgiven. Elijah prayed that rain will not fall for 3 years and 6 months it was because the wickedness of the people in the land was too much. There was famine and starvation in the land. Despite the land was full of sinful acts but Elijah who is a righteous man among the people prayed and God answered because the prayer of a righteous is answered by God.
The house of God on earth is the church, the spirit of God dwells in us because we are the temple of God. The church is the Congregation of people who are always prayerful. If the church is seen as the house of God then the church should also been seen as the house of prayer. The house of God which is the church of God is the house of prayer and Christ is the head. The house of God in our time if the church of God and we are supposed to be found praying always in the house of God. The glory of God began from the east in the book of Ezekiel and when we are praying we should face one direction to maintain discipline. When we face the east to pray we are not focused in worshipping the sun but God and when we face the east to pray it is discipline.
God's shall be great from the rising of the sun and to the going down of the same God's name shall be the greatest. The power of God starts manifesting from the east and the glory of God started there. When we face the east side to pray it is decipline and not a doctrine.
In praying we shouldn't pray repetitive prayer and we should pray without seizing. We must pray with a clean Heart so that God can answer our prayer. Prayer brings about forgiveness of sins because God said if His people will call on Him and pray and turn from their wickedness, then He will hear them and forgive them their sins and heal their land. God is a good God that will not willingly afflict us with evil but is a loving God that even before we start praying He knows our heart desires. Because of God's love He sent His son to die for us and suffer for our own sake. The only thing we need to believe in Him and we are save. Sometimes we have no contentment because God has asked us to be contented with what we have and we shouldn't desire the love of money. When we have problems we should pray to God because He said we should ask He will answer when we knock He shall open and when we seek we shall find. There's nothing bigger than our God.
He that doubts recieves nothing from God, so for us to Recieve what we ask from God we should do that with faith and trust in God.
