Hive Music Festival Week 70 Round 1"Still You Reign" (Cover)

Hello everyone, I welcome you all to my blog and this is Hive Music Festival Week 70 Round 1. Today I bring us a cover of "Still You Reign" by Sonnie Badu and his wife Annie Badu.

Looking at our world today, life is becoming more difficult each day that passes by, allot of misunderstandings and allot of killings, a lot of kidnapping and hardship in my country Nigeria. These and many more are the reasons why allot of people began to question their faith in God. Humanly speaking it's not easy to endure these hardship because it's actually unbearable at this point in time. Yesterday there was a viral video about how a woman with three children just collapse on the way due to starvation. After series of questions if was later found out that she didn't eat for 3 consecutive days and her children have been feeding on Garri (cassava flour).

It's so sad that everything in the market has shoot up in prices and the average man can not longer buy bread to eat any longer. The government in my country removed the subsidy for fuel making transportation very difficult and high in price. In the midst of all this hardship we have some people that couldn't bear it and have involved themselves in illegal act just to survive, we have high cases of robbery and kidnapping in the country as a result of all this challenges we are facing.

It's very difficult to neglect sin in conditions like this because pain can do so much harm to a person both physically, emotionally and spiritually. It takes the grace of God to still look up to the heavens and say "Lord You Reign" amidst all of this circumstances. Today I bring us this song because I believe that whatever the situation maybe, God still reigns regardless. I believe that one day we shall be relieved off the stress and the goal is everlasting life which is found in Christ Jesus..

Hola a todos, les doy la bienvenida a mi blog y esta es la Ronda 1 de la Semana 70 del Hive Music Festival. Hoy les traigo una versión de "Still You Reign" de Sonnie Badu y su esposa Annie Badu.

Mirando nuestro mundo actual, la vida se vuelve más difícil cada día que pasa, muchos malentendidos y muchos asesinatos, muchos secuestros y dificultades en mi país, Nigeria. Estas y muchas más son las razones por las que muchas personas comenzaron a cuestionar su fe en Dios. Humanamente hablando, no es fácil soportar estas dificultades porque, en realidad, es insoportable en este momento. Ayer se difundió un vídeo viral sobre cómo una mujer con tres hijos se desplomaba de hambre en el camino. Después de una serie de preguntas, se descubrió que no había comido durante 3 días consecutivos y que sus hijos se habían estado alimentando de Garri (harina de yuca).

Es muy triste que todo en el mercado se haya disparado en los precios y el hombre medio ya no puede comprar pan para comer. El gobierno de mi país eliminó el subsidio al combustible, lo que hizo que el transporte fuera muy difícil y costoso. En medio de todas estas dificultades tenemos algunas personas que no pudieron soportarlo y se han involucrado en actos ilegales solo para sobrevivir, tenemos altos casos de robo y secuestro en el país como resultado de todos estos desafíos que estamos enfrentando.

Es muy difícil descuidar el pecado en condiciones como ésta porque el dolor puede causar mucho daño a una persona tanto física como emocional y espiritualmente. Se necesita la gracia de Dios para seguir mirando al cielo y decir "Señor, Reinas" en medio de todas estas circunstancias. Hoy les traigo esta canción porque creo que sea cual sea la situación, Dios sigue reinando de todos modos. Creo que un día seremos liberados del estrés y la meta es la vida eterna que se encuentra en Cristo Jesús.
