I know a lot of people that get squeamish with medical procedures. They flinch when they see needles and make a lot of fuss. I get affected with seeing blood but at most I just get a little uncomfortable. So your wife doing it was really brave of her. I guess she wanted to do it because she won't be available for the next few days and she wanted your daughter to know that she is there for her.
