I remember 2011 when i was still in Zaria and on the eve of the Presidential election in April that year, there was a preaching in a mosque where the Imam was telling his followers not to vote in Goodluck Jonathan because he was a Christain and therefore, an unbeliever by their standard. Of course, prior to that time many said 'churches' preached and prayed against Buhari tagging him a child of the bond woman.
A political interest rapidly turned into religious war. Irrespective of political parties and interest, Christians were killed many of which were students who maybe did not vote or have any interest in politics at that time.
As the general elections draw close, Faith could be used to cause ill Fate for the people BUT this is the time where our wisdom should be put in use. Religion 'had' become the shackle of the masses but we can say "THIS FAR AND NO FURTHER!"
