Matija had a birthday a few days ago.
And we decided to celebrate it in a beer brewery UNION in Lubljana.
First, our friendly host Monika showed us a short movie about a dragon who accordingly to the legend still lives in the dark tunnels under the brewery and guards their water springs.
Then she showed us a very interesting museum and told us a story how the brewery was founded in 1864 by two brothers Kosler, who invested their inherited money in a brewery.
It is interesting, how every business story starts with an idea.
Brothers Kosler had the vision to build a successful brewery, and because of that, after so many years this idea still benefits us who like to drink Union beer.
Well, what can I say, thank’s god that we have people among us, who are brave enough to make their vision a reality.
In a museum, we also saw how the process of making beer evolved through time.
And then we tasted the beer and drank it on Matija’s health.
After all, it was his Birthday. :)
