What is the project about?
Utopian Overview is a simple project to easily follow up graphic contributions with thumbnail previews and additional informations on same screen. It already helped me to find several plagiarized content. You can clearly see Utopian's graphics contributions quality level day by day.
Technology Stack
- Utopian API, for fetching approved/rejected contributions data
- Moment.js, for displaying date/time in a better way
- Bootsrap, for faster development of UI
- Showdown.js, for converting contributions body to markdown.
Roadmap
I don't have any particular idea, I just like to help to keep graphics section clean. So i started this project with my little to no javascript knowledge.
- Better UI, maybe display contributions in a masonry grid and show a modal box for post's content.
- Query steem api, rather than utopian api. To be able to get latest changes on posts.
- Using a database to store data to reduce waiting times in each query.
- Could be expandable for other categories if there are any use cases.
How to contribute?
I would appreciate every suggestions and contributions. Unfortunately I'm still trying to get familiar with github. This project also kind of a learning project for me.
