I am kinda staring/aiming for the peak of the mountain, forgetting all the way up. Utopian is a great idea backed by great minds, obviously has a roadmap and going on that way steadily as it grows. Most of time I'm finding myself touching everyone's sore point harshly and criticising with no mercy. Kinda sorry about that, everyone have their own way of yeah w/e.. Here are my ideas.
A chilling/casual discord channel to speak random stuff.
...
Review channels on discord should only used when users done with what mod asked or Review channels on discord should only used for review discussions.
If contributions were low, using a channel or pinging mods maybe make sense but there are already too many contributions which mods hardly catch up. They already keep reviewing as they can. Posting a link on that channel 5 minutes after a contribution is not working for both sides.
Or no link at all, just unconvinced users or mods can discuss the work in public so everyone can see everyone's approach and get some idea for their next contributions.
Reviews should be done First In First Out.
Yes moderators are human being and also they are users, I saw many users complaining about "Why my 3 days old post is still under reviewing process while there are accepted posts within 5 hours".
Yes mods have friends and they also following users, so that posts show up in their feed. But isn't that a problem itself, so if you are good with mods you get priority, so relations getting in front of contributions. And here comes the bribing idea.. They don't even have to be friends or whatever, If I feed a mod with my alter account.. You can figure out where it could go.
